Marvelous has released the opening animation and prologue of their upcoming beat’em up game, showcasing the game’s ridiculous action combos and quick-time events. Uppers is made by the same producer from the Senran Kagura series, it takes place on an island that practically worships the barbaric nature of fighting. There are no rules and your surroundings can be used as an advantage, all while groups of schoolgirls cheer you on and build up your momentum. Uppers is due out on April 21 in Japan for the PlayStation Vita. There have been no mentions of a western release.
