Everyone's favorite beat 'em up went hardcore when Super Battletoads (or simply known as Battletoads) was released in the arcades in 1994, sporting blood and guts, heavy violence, and includes suggestive themes like grabbing General Vermin's crotch and proceeding to sock him in the pomegranates. Super Battletoads was developed by Rare and published by Electronic Arts. Unfortunately, there hasn't been a home port for the game. We can assume the storyling remains the same as the original Battletoads game as there is very little to no mention of a story. The Dark Queen is obviously back at her attempts to take over the galaxy. Though there are only six stages in Super Battletoads, the levels are not short.
