We befriend some new Pokémon, mostly in Port Town, and we make Pikachu stronger. These are the Pokémon befriended in this part: Wingull: Lure it with a Poké Doll, then talk to it. Oh great, we have quiz questions, again. I managed to get them right on my first try, though. If you're playing the Japanese version, choose the center answer, the top answer, then the bottom answer. After you complete the quiz, Wingull will be your friend. Don't worry about messing up. The questions never change. Misdreavus: Pick up an item on one of the buildings, then give it to Misdreavus. It will become your friend afterwards. Corphish: Here comes an interesting kind of task. You need to avoid the barrage of attacks from the Corphish, and reach the Treasure Chest. If you make it to the Treasure Chest without losing all of your HP, Corphish will become your friend.
