This is some gameplay for the first level of Gauntlet: Dark Legacy on the PS2 Dark Legacy is essentially an expansion of Gauntlet Legends, which was the modern sequel to the classic Gauntlet titles. It was first released in the Arcades, and later ported to just about every console under the sun at the time. Dark Legacy has a few levels that carry over from Legends, but adds a number of new areas. If you've never played Gauntlet Legends before, the best way I can describe it is that it plays like an arcade version of Baldur's Gate or Diablo. That's putting it loosely. It has a lot in common with other hack 'n slash RPG games, but stays away from going too far in-depth with weapons, armor, or items. Your character gains levels, like in an RPG, but there is no inventory system.
