Just a quick and dirty 1cc without any real scoring. Realized I never beat this game before so I quickly rectified that. Tried to keep rank low for the most part by avoiding most items and powering up very slowly (1 small power item in stage 1 and a big power item in stage 2, 4 and 6). Stocked up on bombs in stage 4 on the big tanks. These will drop a full bomb item if you destroy the threads before destroying the body. After that you want to get the search options at the start of stage 5 and try to keep those for the rest of the game. You get those by letting 5 bomb pieces fall off the screen and then collecting an option. I raised the autofire rate to 30 hertz at the final bosses. You can't go back to a lower autofire rate if you do this and this has an added side effect of the rank raising much quicker, but it really doesn't matter anymore this late in the game. Miyamoto is incredibly fast but has decent damage and rank raises fairly slowly because of his shot. This run is kinda...
